Growing up in northern Michigan I was fascinated by slideshows and looking through my parents' photo albums and was always excited about getting a chance to use the Kodak Instamatic to take a picture. Remember the disposable flash cube?
The personal computer age drew my attention and led me to study electrical engineering and get a job as a software engineer but the thought of photography was always in the back of my head and I was always seeking out adventures in scenic places. In the late 1990s' digital cameras brought photography back to me and since then my life's plan is "photograph all the things."
